Today we had a visit from Joe who is part of the University of Surrey Outreach Team. Joe ran a number of workshops for our Yr9’s, 10’s and 11’s covering Goal Setting, Post 16 options and Exploring Jobs. Joe was also able to answer questions about university, explain different study options and pathways and helped our students identify career areas that may be of interest to them. The students who attended the workshops, were very welcoming to Joe and engaged in the activities with enthusiasm. We are sure the sessions will prompt a number of conversations in school over the next few weeks around college and career options. We are very grateful to the University of Surrey for giving us their time today and will hopefully work with them again during this academic year.

Grafham Grange School is a special school set in 42 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside in Grafham. Our school offers education for up to 70 students, referred from local authorities across the South of England.
