School Uniform

At Grafham Grange School we expect our school uniform to be worn to school to encourage a sense of belonging and to avoid disputes over unsuitable clothing. In addition it helps our students to start to understand the sense of having appropriate clothing ready for work.

Grafham Grange school uniform is practical allowing students to comfortably engage in both classroom and vocational learning.

The school supplies new students joining Grafham Grange with two polo shirts and a sweatshirt with the school logo. Items which do not need a school logo (trousers, shoes, PE kit) can be purchased from any supplier such as Tesco, Asda etc. at low cost.

Uniform

All students are expected to wear uniform. During the school day this is:

· Grey polo shirt with school logo

· Black Sweatshirt with school logo

· Black trousers/ black tracksuit bottoms/ black joggers

· Black shoes/ black trainers

In the interest of hygiene boys are expected to change for PE/ Sports.

The PE / Sports Fixtures kit is:

· White polo shirt (no logo required)

· Black sports shorts/ Black track suit bottoms (not those worn as school day uniform)

· Trainers (not those used as school day shoes)

Year 11 Uniform

In Year 11 students are entitled to wear their own choice of trouser wear and footwear.

To achieve house points on the school points system students will need to engage with, and follow, the school uniform expectations. Students refusing to engage with the school ethos of wearing uniform will not be allowed to access off-site activities or represent the school at events such as football tournaments.

Equipment

Currently all students are supplied with their own pencil case; with a pen, pencil, ruler and rubber.
