National Engage Football Tournament

Following their success at the regional tournament our football team headed off full of excitement to St George’s Park where they played 11 games against some of the best teams in the country on the David Beckham pitch. The team played incredibly placing 9th out of 12 teams. Over both tournaments the boys conducted themselves exceptionally well displaying determination, sportsmanship, humility, etiquette and resilience in bucket loads. This was recognised by the tournament organisers and other teams as we received the ‘Fair play and Sportsmanship’ trophy. This was, in many ways, a bigger achievement than winning the tournament as it illustrated what fantastic, well rounded and kind young people we have at Grafham Grange. Our staff, students and parents could not be prouder.
