Job Description

The vision of Grafham Grange School and as such, the intent of the curriculum, is to be able to provide every child with access to an accredited education at a level appropriate to them, further tailored to meet their needs with opportunities for vocational learning. This combined with support to help them to learn strategies to deal with the anxiety and challenges they face, which impact on their self-belief, will enable them to succeed in education and beyond.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and strongly motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our therapy team to provide specialist support for our students.

This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills within an educational environment, offering the chance to work collaboratively with a range of professionals and to use therapeutic skills creatively to meet the needs of students. Person Specification

You will have outstanding interpersonal and behaviour management skills, have high expectations, and be fully committed to supporting opportunities for disadvantaged students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 8 students.

Previous experience of working with SEMH and challenging students is highly desirable but not essential.

The school is extremely well supported in its continual drive for excellence through its Governing Body and Academy Trust and the school is committed to CPD across its staff teams.
